Scope of Mobile Crane Training:
The purpose of this course is to serve as a guide
to crane owners and operators in developing safe operating
and maintenance practices and procedures.
Mobile Crane Course Objective:
Student successfully completing this course will be able
to:
- Inspect slings to be used
- Perform pre-use and monthly crane inspections and documentation
- Understand the safe lifting triangle
- Define the titles “Crane Operator” and “Rigger”
- Interpret load charts
- Determine load weights
- Use basic rigging skills Use a load angle indicator
