Scope of Defensive Driving Training:
This course gives added reinforcement to driving
skills and techniques necessary to safely operate a motor
vehicle. The course also exposes students to scenarios that
may be encountered on the roadway.
Defensive Driving Course Objective:
At the completion of the course, students will gain confidence
in themselves and their driving skills to avoid incidents
and should be able to:
- Recognize the difference between driving strategies and driving tactics
- Discuss inspection procedure of an automobile
- Understand how to eliminate distractions
- Avoid road rage
